While the Taskforce has been initially set up with a core of members from IMIA, we also want to draw on wider expertise.
If you are a member of any part of the IMIA 'family' (from a National Society, a Working Group of Special Interest group, an Academic or Corporate Institutional member, or any other part of IMIA), and have active interest and (especially) expertise in Web 2.0, social networking technologies, or whatever we wish to call them, then get in touch if you wish to contribute to the work of this Taskforce.
If you are from outside IMIA, but have active interest and/or expertise in the use of Web 2.0 in relation to health, healthcare, health/medical/biomedical informatics, and would like to contribute, we would be delighted to hear from you.
Please email Peter Murray in the first instance (via pjm.imia[at]gmail.com) and use 'IMIA Web 2.0' as the subject line. Please explain who you are, why you want to be involved, and what you can contribute. Other contact emails will be added as people take responsibility for specific tasks. (Note: spam and spammers who are unlikely to conform to the above format, will be ignored)
We will be publishing regular updates, through the blog posts, or special bulletins, for those who may be interested in what we are doing, but don't have the time or expertise to contribute to the work.
